As of December 2nd, Jens Bergensten, or 'Jeb,' was appointed Minecraft Seeds on the lead developer spot of Minecraft, confirmed by Marcus Person, also referred to as 'Notch,' (the prior lead developer and creator of Minecraft) that his co worker, Jeb, was overpowering, via twitter. Jeb is a constant addition to Minecraft, even though the game was made by Notch. Jeb was alongside Notch as they added additions for the game including wolves, pistons and map structures. A quote from Notch stated that 'it was a scary move, butwhat Minecraft needs today. He's a little more mod friendly than I am, and now we should embrace mods more."
